Trojan Security Steel Gate Lock (AWS1018)

Descriptions and Specifications:

120mm x 85mm x 28mm (excluding lip). This lock has been designed and is intended for security gates and doors. The casing of this lock can be welded into or onto a Steel door or gate. Lugs can be welded onto the lock for use on wooden doors. The lock is ideal for single and double swinging/sliding doors/gates - the multi purpose lock should be used for sliding or double doors.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

1) Remove mechanism from casing
2) Weld casing onto or into door or gate
3) Paint door or gate
4) Lubricate and replace mechanism into casing
5) Tighten retaining screw until lock operates smoothly
6) Install gate and frame or catch plate
7) Make sure gate is operating properly & has settled in position
8) Close door and tap steel push pin with a hammer to mark position of hole to be drilled for the hardened lock pin
9) Drill 14mm diameter (min) hole in frame or catch plate to suit. For additional security and to avoid tampering, tack weld inner plate to body of lock on small sides.
